Because of COVID restrictions Tamworth Regional U3A will not be holding its usual Launch Day in Term 1 this year. An Enrolment morning for courses and activities will be held on Wednesday 27 January 2021, from 9.00am to 1.00pm at the Tamworth Community Centre. Members, and prospective members may come in at any time during the morning to enrol in courses of their choice.
Following the morning all enrolments will be collated and rolls created. Participants in many courses are limited in number due to size of venue. This will be particularly important this year because of strict conditions U3A must meet for social distancing. If there are more people enrolling in a course, a ballot will be held to allocate places to the designated number. A Waiting List will be created for each course and members notified if a place becomes vacant.
At the beginning fo Term 1 all courses are declared vacant and returning members must enrol. In subsequent terms enrolments will be accepted for new courses and for continuing courses, subject to vacancies.
Launch Days at the beginning of each term will recommence when COVID restrictions are removed.
