Welcome to Tamworth Regional U3A’s Online Resource for news and Information!
Tamworth Regional U3A is part of the world wide University of the Third Age movement. Our aim is to provide a friendly relaxed environment for seniors from Tamworth and Regional area to share their knowledge and interests.
No qualifications are needed to become a member of U3A except that you should be more than 50 years and retired or semi-retired. Courses are quite informal with no examinations.
A Love of knowledge and an enquiring mind are the only entrance qualifications needed.
How to Join.
Come to our Enrolment Day for Term 1 2021 which will be held at the Tamworth Community Centre on Wednesday 27 January from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm. Membership Brochures containing information about U3A and an Application form will be available at the Membership Desk on the day and subsequently at the U3A Rooms. Membership for new members is $50.00 for the year. This membership fee will entitle you to attend any of U3A’s courses and activities which will be held during the year. Newsletters containing the latest Tamworth Regional U3A news , course and activity details are circulated to all members prior to the commencement of each term.Newsletters and Bulletins
